The most powerfully magickal tree...revered since ancient times...the Rowan tree shows off its large, creamy flowers in May, clusters of orange-red berries in late summer, and reddish-golden leaves during the fall season.  Usually found alone, the Rowan tree is a stunning contrast to the landscape surrounding it.  Each of the small berries is marked with the magickal sign of the pentagram.

The ancient celts referred to the awe-inspiring Rowan as the "Fid nan Druad", meaning "the wizard's tree".  The Rowan embodies life, beauty, creativity, and strength; it is said to bring good fortune, repel negative energies, and can be planted near your home to act as a strong protector.  The Rowan tree was also widely regarded to aid prophetic powers, as it helps to open our "third eye".
